night with Small Anchor and X-ing books.*

Please join us in the Alumni Reading Room (Library 3rd Floor) for a
discussion of Small Press publishing with Brooklyn-based publishers Small Anchor (http://www.smallanchorpress.com/) and X-ing Books
(http://www.x-ingbooks.com/).

Along with the discussion, there will be a reading by Brooklyn poets Joshua Cohen, Jeremy Schmall and Justin Taylor.

The event starts at 5:30pm on Thursday, April 23, 2009. Please feel free to pass the word along – all are welcome.

New Director of Multi-Media Services

We’re starting a new feature on the library blog: Get to know a staff member! Our featured staff member is Chris Arabadjis, the new Director of Multi-Media Services. Chris has been the Assistant Director of Multi-Media Services for 8 years, and graduated from Pratt in 2001 with an MFA in Painting and Drawing.
